The Issue
In many countries, $1 cannot even buy a candy bar. However, over one billion people live on less than $1 a day. These people are barred from a proper education, access to quality healthcare, and are often undernourished.
-Every day, more than 800 million people go to sleep hungry.
-More than 100 million children cannot attend school due to various factors.
-8 million people die each year because they cannot survive on their income.
Ending poverty is possible. We just have to try.
