Shakti Girls

Shakti Girls seeks to empower sex-trafficking victims and girls throughout India with a holistic education, supplemented by vocational training. "Shakti" means power in Hindi. 

With sites in Kolkata and New Delhi, the Shakti Girls program has already aided the development of an arts empowerment program and has held Change Forums at these locations. 

We are working on building sustainable business models and girls schools in India to prevent and end sex-trafficking.
